Listing an 1800\'s Bell Strike Cable wound movement and Dial. The dial matches exactly the winding arbors, hands pipe and seconds bit. There is a false plate with the movement, which fits the movement, but does not fit the dial. It may be possible to drill new holes in the false plate to accept the dial. This dial and movement were almost certainly not made together and for each other, but they do match up perfectly except for the posts on the dialitself don\'t match holes in the false plate. It should be an easy thing to accomplish. The movement could use a cleaning, but seems in very good shape and the hammer strikes as it should with movement of that side wheel, and the pendulum arm ticks as it should with pressure on the time side wheel. I have no hands for this. It does come attached to a mounting board, and the cable wheels to hand the weights are present. This would be a great combination with which to restore a clock of this period, or make a repro antique clock of the period. I was going to use this to make a replica of General Robert E. Lee\'s clock (which now resides at Washington and Lee University), but the wife says two grandfather clocks in a one floor house is enough. We don\'t need another.
