American tall case clock movement @ 1815. Original Federal period 8 day striking movement with good original dial paint. This movement came in the case that I also have listed this week, but doesn\'t line up properly. Dial measures 16 1/2\" tall x 12 1/8\" wide. Original seat board measures 14\" wide x 4 1/2\" deep x 5/8\" thick. Original seat board hooks. Movement is original to dial, with no extra holes anywhere. Some losses to dial mostly around the dial feet, as shown in the photos. Calendar wheel has been amateurishly repainted. The hole for the seconds hand is elliptical, but looks to be original and undisturbed. The 8 day 2 weight driven movement is complete and intact, ticking and striking smoothly with very gentle finger pressure to the great wheels. Very good condition. Original hands; seconds hand looks to have had a new shaft installed. Original pulleys. No bell. . FedEx ground shipping in the continental USA will be $35.00.
