Antique Grandfather clock vintage rare turn of the century carved Brass face For Sale

This is a stunning antique clock made by the Colonial clock company. I believe it was made between 1906 and 1912. It was recently appraised around $3,800.00 based on similarclocks of the same time period by the same manufacturer. This clock is rare and a unique design I was told by the appraiser the works were made in Germany with the latter chain design on the weights. Brass weights.brass pendulum. Clock works perfectly and keeps perfect time. It has been serviced and oiled recently. It has a statelybut soft bong on the half hour and goes bing bong on the hours. No over powering west minster chime. that makes some people turn off the chime. This is Nice and simple and very statelysounding.Cabinet is a very dark stained wood with a semi gloss finish. I do not know what kind of wood as the finish is so dark. It looks like the front may be black walnut but I am not sure.The glass is wavy glass like you aspectfrom an antique.. It reminds me of a clock made over 200 years ago. It has never been stripped or refinished but has been touched up and renewed to preventcrackling of the original shellac finish. All the brass work has been painstakinglypolished. It is over 7ft tall. Looks nice and grand. I hate to sell this but I need the money for something else.
