This listing is for an interface card for the Apple II, II+, IIe, and IIgs :
• Mountain Computer Supertalker
The software and manual for this card are available for download here and here.
Please note that this card is supposed to be a speech recording and playback device. However, if you examine the pictures closely, you will notice that it seems to be missing the components that would allow digitizing (ie the microphone input circuitry). So it is my understanding that this card is only meant for playback. With that said, it shouldn\'t be too hard to add the missing components if you know what you\'re doing. The manual includes a schematic diagram, so you should be able to determine what the missing parts are. Looking at the schematic some and photos on the web, what I see is that it\'s missing an input connector, an LM324 quad op-amp IC, as well as a handful of resistors and capacitors.
I have not tested this card, but I have no reason to believe it\'s not working. It was pulled from a working Apple IIe. With that said, it is sold as-is, without any warranty. Vintage electronics can fail at any time.
I reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that I don\'t feel safe about fulfilling (low response, unconfirmed PayPal account, etc.).
