This sale is for a Cisco DPC3939 wireless gateway. It is branded as Xfinity XB3. This is the same unit you would pay $8-10 a month to rent from Xfinity. I purchased this unit in 2014 and it has worked flawlessly. Tested at over 100mbps. I am selling because I upgraded to a new 32x8 gateway because of all the connected home devices I have constantly drawing bandwidth. This gateway still works great and is modern enough to connect several devices and quick speeds. The only things to note are there is no battery backup for the wireless voice is you subscribe to that service and want battery backup you will need to purchase separately. Second, this unit is a “rental only” model in Xfinity’s system - I’ve used it with no issue for 4 years. The only thing you cannot due with this gateway is have it added to your Xfinity account which is only required if you use Xfinity Stream service. If you don’t stream Xfinity through the app then this gateway will work perfectly for you.
Shipping will be actual anywhere in the US. You will receive the wireless gateway and power cord only - no manuals, boxes, other cables. The URL for setting up your own wireless password is on the barcode on the bottom of the modem. I found a tutorial on YouTube of how to setup for the first time since it was my first time setting up my own gateway with password.
