The Dell PowerConnect 5324 is a 24 port Gigabit switch. The Dell 5324 provides wire-speed access along with management capabilities and security features. As an enterprise level switch, the Dell PowerConnect provides access to commonly needed technology such as Quality of Service (QoS), multicast support, Link aggregation (LAG), and VLAN configuration.
Four of the switch\'s 24 Gigabit ports are combo ports that can be used as either Ethernet or SFP ports. The SFP ports support fiber through SFP transceiver modules. The Dell 5324 supports security features like 802.1x edge authentication, RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication, as well as SSL/SSH traffic encryption. Each switch is mountable in a standard 19\" rack. Up to 8,000 MAC addresses can be managed directly through the Dell PowerConnect 5324.
