Here is a simple country clock, pine case, 8-day movement (runs fine), and a cottage size of 80\". These were inexpensive in their day compared to fancy veneered cases with elaborate dials and a step up from the 30-hour clocks that preceded them.This particular clock is waxed pine and very original to include the base which frequently gets replaced. The door glass is replaced with wavy glass of the period. Weights and pendulum are period correct replacements. The bonnet has a couple small pieces missing on the top (can\'t see it) and a newer knob.Measures 80\" high, 19\" wide.
