I have a used Fortinet Fortigate 80-CM for sale. The unit has a power cord which powers it on (all lights on) and when a laptop is connected that particular port lights up.
There was a configuration USB dongle drive attached to this unit (I\'ll send it with and I added a photo), that had a few configuration files on it....it also should that the current hardware update was: <---I don\'t know if this is the latest.However, after some research I found out that this unit has been preset with an admin password that cannot be accessed without a console cable which is an RJ-45 to DB-9 serial cable (read the following: and I don\'t have one of those.
There is no reset button on this unit, so it cannot be reset to default/factory settings. You MUST be able to access it through the cable stated above - I tried it with a straight-through RJ-45 to the Putty program, no luck...so I\'m giving up.
You can look the device up on the internet before you purchase and there\'s information on how to access the internal program to reset it (again you have to have other cables)...the price is low enough and I would have kept it, but I don\'t want to buy more parts just to play around.
If it\'s useful to your particular project then I know the price is also good.

No returns on this item (sorry), but if you don\'t feel comfortable trying to access the internal program/configuration, then I probably would suggest you don\'t buy it.
