Offered is a great small handled ash basket, made by a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe from Mt. Pleasant, MI. This is a band of Ojibwe and Odawa Native American. It is signed by the artist with the name Two Hearts, and she is identified on the tag as Mary Jane Fonda or Jonda..The basket is in excellent shape other than some spots on bottom and one on handle. It measures 5 3/4\" by 3 1/2\" (not including handle.). Our Native American and First Nation items have been collected from various places--sales, estate sales, pow wows and craft stores from our travels. Many of our Quill Boxes come from Manitoulin Island, where we spend part of each summer. We hate to let some of these items go but with our children in college, it\'s time to liquidate some of the collection and share our items with others.
