Rare Exquisite Regina Chime Clock Hall Clock Grandfather Clock Rare Exquisite Regina Chime Clock Hall Clock Grandfather Clock The Regina Company Manufactured music boxes from 1894 to 1921. Early on they combined their music boxes with Hall clocks manufactured by others.
The hall clocks fell into 2 categories, Hall clocks with Music Box, and Hall Clocks with Regina Chime with bells actuated by a disc. This clock is the latter.
The Chime clocks like this one, started production around 1905 and ceased in 1912. Total production of all styles was only about 200.
The chime unit is different then the music boxes but the premise is the same. The disc is slightly smaller and measures 12 1/8 inches. Shipper will set up clock anywhere that is feasible in your home (please note the size and make sure there is plenty of clearance). They will not install pendulum or weights. Recommend you have a professional set it up for you.
Condition - I am not an expert so please be sure to review the video, pictures above and approximately 60 additional photos below, taken in different lighting along with different flash settings as its always difficult to capture the beauty of a piece like this.My Opinion - She is in Excellent Working Condition and Presents Beautifully. This is only my opinion so please read on as I am about to get extremely critical and explain every visible flaw.
In my mind, non of these are significant however I want you to be satisfied upon its arrival. So lets begin....

• When facing the clock right side starting at the bottom
• feet are in nice shape
• chime section - raised panel has some scratches and 3 look like they run with the grain
• Mid Section is nice
• Side of face case is nice
  
• column is a little loose and secure in place, it just twists a little
• Backside below the face case is what appears to be a repair to the wood about a 3 inch section and you have to look from the bottom up to see it. See last pic
  
• the bottom of the face case on this side has some marring and wear to the finish by the column (see pic 5 face cover lower left hand corner)
• Top of face cabinet has some raised finish that is very dark in color and age appropriate.
  

• When facing the clock starting at the bottom
  
• Bottom front feet right side tiny ding to the left most toe
• Front panel is beautiful with gorgeous inlay\'s
• Inside the chime box the movement has age appropriate tarnishing and the right bottom bracket has some surface rust.
  
• 1 disc has tarnishing the other is much cleaner.
  
• The disc holder on the inside door is loose and has a split across the front and is separating from the door itself. Should be re-glued see pic 9
• There are some age appropriate scratches where the door rubs the base.
• Mid section has beautiful inlays and is beautiful
• glass is in excellent shape
• inside backside of door has some scratches and nicks
  
• pendulum is in great shape has some tarnishing on the shaft
• weights are beautiful the left one has 3 tiny dings
• minor scratches where the door rubs
• Top section clock face is beautiful there are some light wear spots or dirt above the 6
• the front glass has a small bubble or chip about the size of a pencil point along the right side by the 2. It looks like a spec of dirt
• Top crown has a ding on the right side very top edge.
  
• When facing the clock left side starting from the bottom
• feet are perfect only minor wear
  
• finish on side panel is beautiful just slightly raised in spots and age appropriate.
  
• along the edge by the chime door is a small ding
• mid section is beautiful
• top is beautiful
  
• The front corner and only seen when the top case is removed is a chip/ gouge running along the outer edge. it is hidden when the cabinet is in place.
• Clock movement
  
• Last serviced in 2011 and works great
• Chimes (music disc) run 3 minutes before the hour and then the bell rings on the hour correctly and half hour
• Keys - 3 door keys (2 work really well in all 3 locks 1 is finicky.)
• Crank handles for clock and chime have some tarnishing on them
• Hardcover Book by Tran Duy Ly \"Longcase Clocks and Standing Regulators\" is included and is where I obtained information on this clock.
  
• Also a print out copy of the advertisement for his clock is also included.
