Sun Sparcstation 5 170MHz/64MB/2x2.1GB/CDROM:
$219.99
This machine boots to an old version of OpenBSD. It is easy to boot from the CD drive to install your preferred OS. I have owned this machine since 2004 and it has rarely been used. The 170MHz TurboSPARC machines are a really nice, fast option for a sparc32 machine. It also has 64MB of RAM in 2 slots and 2 2.1GB drives. I do have a null modem cable that I would add for a small fee if you want to use the serial console.
- There is a chip on the case by the Sun logo (see picture)
- Some case wear and stains (see pictures)
- Some sharpie writing on the back and a company barcode by the CD drive
- I last used this machine in 2011 or 2012. The clock was off by 3 months when I plugged in for testing (quickly fixed with NTP). No boot errors or anything but keep in mind it may need a new battery soon. I don\'t know if slowing clock is a sign of that or if it is normal for the clock to lose that much time in 6 years.
Thank you for looking and let me know if you have any questions.
