This is a used APC™ Back-Ups Model BE650G1 650 VA, with 4 outlets all battery backed-up, and 4 more outlets only surge protected Unit is rated for 120 volts AC single phase input, 5.41 amps, 60+/-3 hertz input, 390 watts providing a total backed-up outlet current of 12 amps. Transfer time to back-up power is 6 ms to 10 ms. Output is not sinusoidal as it has a total harmonic distortion of 45 percent and a maximum single harmonic of 35 percent. When on battery power to your loads the unit provides 115 volts AC single phase plus/minus 8 percent and 60 hertz plus/minus 1 hertz to your loads. The unit provides the power on battery for a limited time after which it alarms you. The manufacturer does not state the exact time limit, but it is on the order of minutes. Product is made in the Philippines. Four of the 8 outlets are for backup power to your equipment, the other four outlets provide voltage surge protection only for equipment connected to them. The four outlets providing back-up power also provide surge protection. Unit is designed for computer, monitor, and peripheral devices protection; it is not to be used with any motor-driven devices. Typical power demands are such that printers or scanners should be connected only to the dedicated surge-protected outlets. The unit also has a network-in and network-out coaxial connectors for Ethernet network surge protection. Surge protection is rated 340 Joules. The unit provides full time EMI/RFI protection. The unit has a combination pushbutton/led power on. The unit also has a resettable circuit breaker, and a building wiring fault indicator. The unit comes with the genuine APC™ RBC™ 17 maintenance-free sealed lead acid battery pack. The unit also has a USB port for your initial setup of the unit using PowerChute™ Personal Edition software from APC. There is no CD with this unit for the setup. You must download the software from APC, which is a free download. The APC battery only fits the unit. The APC battery is recyclable, and must be recycled to comply with laws to avoid lead contamination of the environment. The batteries cannot be put in the trash, but must be recycled through APC which has a full program for doing this on line.
Shipping weight is 18 pounds. Only ground shipping for this item, no air shipments. There is no original boxes, or instructions for these, they are readily available on line from APC. What you see is what you get. Sold \"as is\".
