Upgraded WatchGuard x550e box running a fresh install of pfSense.
Has some signs of previous use, but looks sharp and works great. ***Pictures currently posted are my stock photos, pictures of actual unit will be posted soon***Specs:
Flashy 1U rackmount chassis in hot rod red
Back-lit, programmable status LCD with navigation buttons
CPU: Stock Celeron replaced with 2.13 GHz Pentium M 770 (more powerful than the top of the line x-Peak-e boxes shipped with)RAM: Maxed out at 2GB -should be plenty for all your extra bells and whistles
Storage: Stock CF card removed and replaced with 4 GB Hitachi Microdrive (unlike a regular CF card, this allows running full version pfSense instead of requiring the embedded nanoBSD version)
4x 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Ports
PCIe expansion slots
Front panel DB9 Serial Port
Flashed Improved/Unlocked 8.1 BIOS (see pfSense forum for details)
Have dialed down fan speed from "hurricane" mode to a more relaxed level
LED "Status" light set to turn from red to green when box is up and running
LCD Screen has been enabled and configured to display system status.Currently running mostly stock pfSense 2.3.4 (Box should be capable of running other x86 based firewall software (m0n0wall, t1n1wall, OPNSense, etc.) but I've been pretty thrilled with pfSense)user: admin
password: WatchGuardEthernet Port 0 currently set for WAN (will look for a dynamic IP),Port 1 for LAN (will issue 192.168.1.x IP).**Connect your ethernet cables before powering up the box!**Serial Console at 115200 8N1

I am selling flashy enterprise class router appliance hardware with some slick upgrades that'll run circles around your standard anemic consumer grade router- not software.I am not tech support. I can help get you started with the basics and point you towards online resources, but expect to do a fair bit of reading to get set up.I am not selling pfSense software (pfSense is awesome - that's why I'm running it! Support them by buying their Gold Membership or a Service Contract!).
