I used this to interface a very old IBM PS/2 PC keyboard to a USB port on a new Windows 7 PC. Drivers loaded up fine. Tried every key (think I hit them all) and all gave the desired characters. Didn't try the mouse connection--don't need it. Assume it would be OK. Good product and value.

I have not tried this with the mouse port, so I can only speak for the keyboard port. I plugged my old programmable Windows 98-era PS/2 keyboard into my Windows 10 laptop from 2017 and it worked. I had to shove the keyboard in a bit hard and it's a little sticky, but once in, it worked as advertised. It will not work unless you shove it in all the way, which is something not everyone with computer experience will likely know. I only gave it a 3 star so far because I haven't used it a whole lot yet and there isn't really much to say. What you see is what you get.

Doesn't work with PS2 barcode scanner, but works fine with PS2 keyboard and PS2 mouse. I have an older PS2 barcode scanner which I wanted to connect to USB via this contraption. It reads errors every time, while the scanner works perfectly well when connected to old PC directly to PS2 port in the back.

This was purchased an adapter from PS2 to USB, but it only worked with mouse, keyboard not worked with him. With this Converter, the keyboard works, even the extra keys. Keyboard works in Windows 7 and UEFI. Any drivers did not put. A great option for those who do not want to part with his old keyboard, and not to buy contemporary crafts.
