Very basic product
It's a very simple product, but for the price it does what it should do (transmit data) I have used about 300ft of the cable and no problems so far. The crimptool works but has no safety protection what so ever, as a result i have had two superficial cuts on my hands, so caution when using the tool is very advised. Finally the connectors themselves are just standard RJ45 connectors, quality of the connectors seen fine so far and to get 50 of them makes it no problem if you make a few mistakes crimping them.It's a very simple product, but for the price it does what it should do (transmit data) I have used about 300ft of the cable and no problems so far. Low quality, Aluminum wire Very likely to not meet your building codes, beware. Aluminum wire is easily damaged Aluminum oxidizes quickly in the atmosphere. Consider the insulation displacement connectors exposed Aluminum degrade over time. Especially in high humidity. Aluminum has about 40% less current carrying ability than Copper. Expect degraded network performance due to attenuated signals, exacerbated by oxidizing at punch downs. I'm in the business of installing IP security cameras. Have purchased a total 10,000 feet of this in all the colors, (white, blue, yellow, green, black, gray, and red). Great CMR rated solid copper 24 AWG for POE cams at a great price. Recommend getting two at a time for the bulk discount. Solid product.
