On one end of the cable, one of the LC connector stoppers was misaligned and hence the connector would not seat, the boot was also not connected properly. I took apart the connector and aligned the stopper so the connector would seat properly and still had no luck getting a connection. More debugging and I noticed the fibers were not in the correct order A-- B, B-- A. Had to take apart the connector at one end and swap the fibers to make it work. If these are new, then was no QA done here.
