Looks brand new, has no marks or indications of prior use at all. Hooked it up, Century Link has a web based registration page to link it to their server, which is very easy. Checked the Admin pages, the latest software was installed. Set up my home wireless, SSID/password etc. Good to go with 100mb/s down 50 mb/s up, and only 25% of the cost of Cent Link offer.

My first XyZel modem lasted 7 years, but finally the wi-fi component became erratic. The CL tech who came out to investigate the problem recommended this model; he said it’s one of the better ones CenturyLink uses. I haven’t been disappointed. The four Ethernet ports come in handy for connecting my two PCs, weather station, security cam and a few other devices (connected through a port extender). I prefer Ethernet when possible due to better/faster broadband signals, but this router offers solid wi-fi signals, too. And you can’t beat the price of this refurbished version.

This wireless is a good one. I needed one, rather than rent one from our ISP, or buy one retail plus shipping from them. It hooked up easy, was recognized by my devices, and gives a solid signal. The internet comes through at the promised speed. Other independent reviews rated it high, so do I.

It was very easy to set up. The fact that everything was enclosed with the unit ….i.e. installation manual was very reassuring.

Worked right out if the box, just like the $11 dollar per month unit. Should have done this years ago. It will pay for itself in near months.
