    The Cisco Alternative, without the Cisco Upkeep Price!

    This Ubiquiti EdgeRouter has an amazing number of capabilities compared to Cisco routers in the same range. Cisco users will have learn to do things differently however, you will be pleasantly surprised with the power that is present in this small package. The GUI is good and the CLI trumps the the GUI. Just be LINUX/UNIX CLI familiar and be ready to explore.

    Fast If you know Your Networking Basics

    SUPER FAST! Not for the average homeowner but this enterprise class router is a great solution if you know your networking basics. You can configure with a wizzard, with the GUI, configuration tree or command line interface. I've got Ubiquiti WiFi and AirPort Devides so the PPOE is nice. It take a long time to boot up and something the ports can get stuck and wont autonegiciate but anyone with networking knowlage can fix that.

    Good

    Works fine with 24vdc but when connected to a 48vdc 1.5amp the console port blinks LED and does nothing. No 48vdc no POE. will not work as a POE.
