Switch does just about everything an L2/L3 switch could need to do for a small or even medium size office. PoE is a nice feature too. The only negative is that the fans do run loud, so recommended for a closet or basement or "out of the way" place. The switch runs the older Extreme OS and does not have an option to spin down the fan speed.

I would give it a 5, but it's a loud little bugger. Makes my old PowerEdge R710 sound like the shadow of a whisper. Could just be this particular unit though.
