Extreme Networks have always been our favorite. Our system produces horrible traffic because of its nature as an HPC cluster, and all other switches by Dell/HP and Cisco failed to withstand the load and either lost packets or crashed. Extreme Network switches are the ONLY one capable of handling very heavy-weight traffic under constant maximum stress. Their only deficiency is a somewhat limited web interface and dependency on a CLI that has some learning curve.
