Purchased this adapter for a home network upgrade and I was able to get it working on Windows 11 and at 10Gb link speed. I am happy with it and will use it but there are some downsides. First, getting a working driver from Intel took over an hour. Windows does not contain any working driver, so you wont be able to use this card on a new install without an existing connection. Second, this card does not support 2.5Gb or 5Gb link modes. It either negotiates at 10Gb or falls back to 1Gb. There are other cards in this price range that support those speeds. Third, it would have been nice to have a half height bracket included.

Price is still high but reasonable used. It does run a little hot and use more power than the newer generation cards but works reliably on all operating systems I have used it on (bsd/linux/windows). Excellent throughput, I can now transfer files to/from my FreeNAS machine at over 600MB/s.

This is an awesome 10gb network card and it works perfectly with TrueNAS. I may get another one.
