Nice, typical web-manageable AND CLI-manageable procurve switch. It does 802.1q tagged AND untagged vlans with easy setup. The 802.1q tagging works fairly easily with linux also. Apparently it can do QoS also, but I haven't used it. And did I mention it's dead silent? No fan! -- That's WONDERFUL in an office environment. Do note that this is a 24x 10/100 switch with 2x 10/100/1000 rj45 uplink ports that can optionally be converted to SFP mini-GBICs. Ports are auto mdi/mdi-x. All in all, I can recommend it as a good managed switch.
The switch worked as expected. It's not a full gigabit switch like I thought, but that's my fault for not doing my research.

This it the first managed switch that I've ever purchased and it was quite easy to set up and configure with my pfsense (single NIC HP thin client) 'server'
