Replacement for R5300 Series
With advances in high-speed data network delivery come additional demands on the equipment that interfaces those networks with the local network. The Netopia 4622-XL Router solves a problem prevalent in circuits which might have been upgraded as bandwidth issues were resolved and speeds increased. They have more memory, many additional features and won't slow the throughput down because of a lack of processing speed. In our situation, the 4622-XL-T replace an R5300 which was not capable of keeping up with new equipment installed in a central office update. The R5300 would bounce the circuit several times an hour, dropping users and causing issues with large file transfers. Once installed and programmed, the 4622-XL-T gave an immediate improvement in the circuit and resulted in happier ...
