Not Suitible as General Purpose UPS
This product is advertised as a Computer and Printer power backup. Fine. That doesn't mean that I can't also expect it to be a suitable general purpose UPS. When the power goes out this device constantly emits at short intervals an extremely annoying audible alarm. Give me an option to keep this thing quiet. Imagine using this to power an alarm clock that you need to wake you in the morning, even if the power would be out. With a power failure warning alarm going off every few seconds you don't have to worry about power to activate the alarm clock. You won't be able to sleep through all the racket the UPS makes during the entire power failure. I wish I could have rated this a ZERO. That is certainly how I rate the work of the person that designed it. Some day I have to take this apart ... This product is advertised as a Computer and Printer power backup. Fine. Does what it is asked to do - but!
The unit is compact and has sufficient plugs. The electronic circuit noise elimination feature is a plus. However, it lacks an alarm silence button. If the power dies I'll know it. I don't need a box beeping constantly telling me what I already KNOW!

You can turn the beeping off
The beeping really isn't that loud, if it bothers you, you can turn it off via options when computer is connected to the USB.
