Small size is great, works great in Laptop. Performance is good, especially considering the lack of antenna. FYI. If you run linux, the chip is supported in the 4.14 kernel or lower. newer kernels need a patch. Was only able to make the patch work with kernel versions 4.7 or above. If you run the 4.4 kernel, good luck, as I couldn't make it work.

Worthless, considerably slower than my cell phone and if I go in the next room, about 25 feet away, the upload speed goes down to 10 or below. I have 1g internet in my house. I get more than 400mbps upload speed with my phone and only 200 with this device if I am right next to the modem.

bought this for a 2011 MacBookPro to connect to 5GHz wireless network, but unfortunately it is not supporting it at all, it only works in 2.4GHz. Also it is only USB 2.0, not 3.0.
