Aruba AP-655 Overview
Outfit your business with fast and reliable wireless connectivity by adding the Aruba AP-655 Wireless Tri-Band Access Point into your network. This Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) access point takes advantage less congested 6 GHz band with several 160 MHz channels, which works alongside the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies to deliver a combined bandwidth of up to 8347 Mb/s with compatible devices. Inside are downward tilting 5.4 dBi omnidirectional antennas, which optimizes the AP-655 for ceiling mounting. OFDMA and 4x4 MU-MIMO technologies on the 5 and 6 GHz bands help to maintain strong, efficient connections. The 2.4 GHz frequency supports downlinks only.
Connecting the AP-655 to your PoE compatible network switch or router through either of its 5G Ethernet ports allows you to transfer data and power over a single cable. You can also combine both ports with link aggregation for higher throughput and use a separately purchased DC power adapter. A USB-A 2.0 port is available to connect a wide range of IoT devices. Your wireless connections are secured with WPA3 encryption.
Integrated GPSBuilt-in GPS receivers and intelligent software enable the AP to self-locate and act as reference points for accurate indoor measurements.Automatic Role-Based Access EnforcementCentrally configure and automatically enforce role-based policies across wired and wireless networks.Dynamic Traffic SteeringLoad balance traffic for better performance by automatically steering traffic from the 2.4 GHz band to the preferred 5 GHz or 6 GHz band.UPC: 190017493039
