Item Description
These new old stock Safronic 5.25" drives came from an enterprise IT services company that cloesd down. Each purchase is for 1 (ONE) drive.
Please note, these drives do NOT come with any cables, manuals or other accessories.
Also, some drives may have a loose square plate. This is the EMI cover for the read/write head. These drives have been sitting on pallets for 30 years, so the adhesive has dried up. You can glue these back on. Some customers report the plate is required for drive operation and others report it works without it.
Photos are of one of theactual items for sale. Please keep in mind that this is a vintage item that's 30 years old. It may continue working for years, or it may fail at any time due to age. For that reason, this item is sold strictly AS-IS with no returns.
