This machine was a Symantec end point server and then switched to PfSense server because of the two ethernet ports on the motherboard. The motherboard is a hardened industrial motherboard from BCM/Foxconn model: 14200-31945-54E9 so it is super reliable which is what you want in an internet appliance. It has an i5-2400 4-core processor and 4gb of ram. It also has a 500gb hard drive which has been preinstalled with PfSense and is ready to use right away. The rear exhaust fan is not loud but not quiet either. If you are going to stick it in a closet somewhere then you wont notice but if it's in a common area you might want to replace it with a quieter fan.

Warranty & Returns

• We will exchange defective or damaged products within the warranty period (14 days from date received unless listed otherwise in the listing) if we have the product in stock. Otherwise, we will issue a refund once the original item is returned to us. Buyer pays return shipping costs unless free returns are offered in the listing in which case we will send you a prepaid label.
  
• Returns for refund are accepted unless otherwise stated in the listing. Buyer pays for return shipping costs unless the listing offers free returns. There is a 15% restocking fee and we will also deduct original shipping costs if any from the refund amount. There is no restocking fee for defective or damaged items. If the item shipped with free shipping we will deduct a $6 fee to help recover our original shipping costs.
  
• If items are damaged in transit please notify us within the first 24 hours of receiving the package. Otherwise we will not be able to issue a claim with the carrier.
