How It Works

The RS232 Extender (S)ender unitconnects to your computer using the supplied RS-232 data cable.The extended RS-232 deviceconnects to the (R)eceiver unit.

CAT-5 cables connect the (S)end and (R)eceive units- up to 1000 feet away!

The system is powered by the included 5 volt power supply, which connects directly to the (S)end unit; power is provided to the (R)eceiver via the CAT-5 cable.
