Period American tall case clock case only @ 1815. Please see my other sales this week for the movement and original brass finials that came with this case - the dial doesn\'t line up properly in the dial opening, and probably is not original to this case. Due to the project nature of this case, they are being sold separately. Case measures 88\" tall x 19\" wide x 9 1/2\" deep. The dial opening measures 16\" tall x 12\" wide and will take a 16 1/2\" tall x 12\" wide dial. Solid mahogany and flame mahogany veneered wood case withoriginal color and finish, and original feet. The finish has been thinned in areas. The case has looseness to all of the joinery, and veneer loss, particularly to the base. All of the original hardware is present including the door hinges and locks, and the brass bases and capitals for the hood. The hood columns are detached, but present and need reinstalling. One of the swan neck pediments is loose and needs regluing. Please see the photos for the complete description and ask questions if you have any. The bonnet door glass is original and wavy and good. This is a very very good attractive case with a lot of potential in need of and worthy of a lot of restoration. .
