I own and still use these speakers. They arefabulous. The honeycomb series from Technics are the most uncolored I have tested and used in recording studiosettings as well. This model\'s tweeter is reputed to be 6db down at 120kHzwhich is way above any humans hearing. It showed that in the upper hearingrange of 20khz that the controlled roll-offwas smooth. I have found the stereosound stage to be very accurate and even produce spatial sound beyond theextreme positioning of the speakers. The tight extended bass is a delight sound-wiseon modern movies. Who needs a sub-wooferand Surround sound! These Technics Speakersdon\'thave colored harmonics, conecavity distortions and screaming tops. They were also more costly to produce.
