0I used ityears ago as an extra phone, I just plugged it in to house phone system andcalled home number with my cell, still works.
It does need to be cleaned, it has beenin the garage for years.

I have owned it since 1973. On your house phone you can only take incomming calls as an extension, if you crank the ringer it will put 90 volts into your system and you don\'t want to do that, but field phone to field phone its okay.
