SEMIONICS REM-100 4K STATIC RAM MEMORY BOARD S100 pre IEEE696 STANDARDThe board is likely compatible with ALTAIR 8800 and IMSAI 8080.The patent applications were filed April 19th 1977

I am the second owner having bought it from an EXXON RESEARCH in 2003 along with two of his S-100 systems and multiple working boards.One of the system was an IMSAI 8080 in which this board was probably used.These were his personal systems and were operational at time of retirement in the mid 80\'s.

Testing / Operational Status:

The card was not tested in a working IMSAI 8080 chassis.The reason being the presence of one 100 microfarad electrolytic capacitor which probably needs reforming prior to powering the board to prevent explosion.I do not want to do it since i do not have the right test gear to do it and i do not want to unsolder to prevent damage to the board traces.One of the static memory chip 2102LIPC, probably made by Fairchild was replaced by one from Signetic if i read the acronym correctly, see picture.
The board will be wrapped in aluminium foil, placed in an antistatic bag, placed in a commercial anti static padded box and shipped Canada Post/USPS in Canada and in USA. Rest of the world will be EMS/Fedex International Economy, ask for a quote.

Local pick-up is available in Ville StLaurent (east north center side of Montreal island). The unit will not bepackaged as described above for local pick-up.
